FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is TRK Wallet safe?
TRK Wallet is a self-custody wallet: your keys are created and encrypted on your own device (scrypt + AES-256-GCM) and every transaction is signed there. Protections are on by default:
- A mandatory transaction preview before every signature. The default answer is No.
- Spending caps per transaction and per 24 hours.
- Auto-lock after 5 idle minutes.
- SOL sends go through an on-chain escrow by default, with a 30-minute hold and recipient confirmation.
- Address book warnings for changed and look-alike addresses.
- No auto-approval anywhere: bot connections and bot-flagged links are blocked by default.
TRK Wallet is beta software. Never share your recovery phrase or private key with anyone. TRK will never DM you first and will never ask for them.
Are my keys stored on my device?
Yes. Your keys are encrypted and stored only on your device. They are never sent to a server: TRK does not run any server that stores your account, password, keys or recovery codes, and it cannot access, move or recover them.
Which network does TRK use?
The TRK Wallet beta runs on Solana devnet (a test network) by default. Devnet SOL and tokens have no value. Mainnet is not enabled in this phase.
The TRK token itself is on Solana mainnet.
How do I get the beta app?
The TRK Wallet Android app is expected to be available within 14 to 15 days. When it is ready it will appear on the Download page and on Google Play.
Only download TRK Wallet from trkwallet.com. Never install a "TRK" app sent to you in a DM.
